An open-source UX agent for bitcoin builders who direct AI agents is on its way. It's being built to help your agent ship apps that are well designed and that people actually want to use.
The problem
You direct an AI agent to build your bitcoin app. It writes the code fast. But nobody on the team is a UX specialist, so nobody is checking how the app actually feels to the person using it.
In bitcoin that gap costs more than in most apps. People are moving real money, and some actions cannot be undone.
What changes
A failed payment is where trust is won or lost. Here is the kind of fix Twibbit is being built to make.
Payment failed. Route not found (code 0x1F).
Your sats are safe. Nothing was sent. Sam's wallet wasn't reachable. Try again in a minute, or send another way.
Illustrative example, not a screenshot of a real app. It shows the kind of difference the UX agent is meant to make.
Where agents go wrong
We interviewed 10 bitcoin builders about how they really build with AI. 7 of the 10 had AI output that was made up, wrong or misaligned with what they asked for.
"Sometimes it just made up, hallucinated and I had to give it the documentation to see how it was supposed to build it."A bitcoin builder, from our research interviews

What it is
An open-source UX agent, or skill pack, that you hand to the AI agent you already use. It carries a UX designer's judgment about how bitcoin apps should look and behave, so your agent can make better decisions without you becoming a designer.
How it will work
You direct your AI agent as usual. Say it is building a send-payment flow.
It checks the screen the way a UX designer would, and flags anything people can't undo or won't understand.
Clear states, safe confirmations and messages that say what actually happened.
What builders asked for first
Built with builders
Every one of them uses AI to write code. Most act as the director: they steer the agent and review what it writes. Nine in ten asked for the same thing, a skill or an agent their AI can connect to.
"I don't write code anymore, but I direct."A bitcoin builder, from our research interviews
Who it's for
Most of the builders we interviewed work solo or in a small team and steer an AI agent to build. See who they are in the research report →
Who is building it
We're building it openly, in one public repository, so you can see how it develops, contribute, and tell us what your agent gets wrong. We're aiming to launch an MVP (a first working version) at the end of November. If you want to get your hands on it, drop your email below.
